It was revolutionary. Indeed, a very good idea! (1983-1984).

Appointed by the then Archbishop of Onitsha Most Rev. S.N. Ezeanya of blessed memory to serve as Father Formator at All Hallows Seminary, Onitsha (1989-1992), to take the place of Fr. Denis C. Fr Godwin Okolo now Monsignor, by Archbishop Albert Obiefuna 1999, and served till 2004. Those years were indeed very tough and exacting given the varia challenging Anambra State governance issues, insecurity, infrastructural decay and poor economic turn-outs. But God supplied the grace! The Seminary survived it, to the glory of God! He was further appointed to serve in the Onitsha Archdiocesan Marriage Tribunal (2013); Assistant Secretary for the first Archdiocesan Synod (2005), member of the Committee for the Second Onitsha Archdiocesan Synod (2016) and Parish Priest St Theresa’s Parish Umunya (October 2015-August 2016). It presented as well as left very sad memories. He was appointed to St Augustine’s Umuoba-Anam (2016) where he is still serving, by the Archbishop Most Rev. Valerian Okeke.

He was directed by the Diocesan Bishop, Most Rev. Denis C. Isizoh in 2023 to assist in some of the initial requirements of a new Junior Seminary like: the Seminary rules and regulations review, Manual of Prayers, Talk to the Diocesan Senior Seminarians on Reunion with the Bishop, Diocesan Vicariate and Faculty Examinations charge etc. And he has also been appointed by the Most Rev. Denis C. Isizoh to the following charges: Parish Priest St. Augustine’s Umuoba-Anam, Consultor, Dean, Director of Vocations, and Chairman of the Diocesan Canon Law Office – all in 2024.

Passionately committed and zealous for the care of souls, he executes priestly charges with diligence, integrity, joy and undiminished intensity. He empties himself and spares nothing for same. He is firm, urges and insists that the right thing be done, with patience but can also burst out to fight injustice and oppression in any guise.

He likes reading, learning, doing, conversation, visits especially the less remembered ones; creations, arts, sculpture, composing songs, prayers, inspiring poems and prose. He desires so strongly to renounce himself completely, take up his cross and follow the Master Jesus Christ as He invited the disciples to do. His Motto: Deus prime, alii sequuntur, deinde me.

For now, Parish Priest of the St Augustine’s Parish Umuoba-Anam of Anambra East in Anambra State of Nigeria. He works hard with the faithful to love God, the Church and humanity. Continues to encounter grave challenges to the faith like paganism and neo-paganism preferences of most Catholic Youth, Pentecostalism, syncretism and levity about morals and faith, confronting them sincerely and courageously with abundant good results. The Parish is alive with programmes to educate the faithful in the faith and correct practice – via; Sunday Evening Instructions, Religious Societies in devotion, Caritas for the poor and needy, TELEDO – Teach, Learn and Do programmes, retreats, excursions skills acquisition and games for the youth etc. and they enjoy them. I am proud of the Parishioners and faithful who join us.
