st. mark’s parish umueri

St. Mark’s parish began as an outstation of Our Lady of Victory Umueri since 1933. The former site for the outstation was St. Mark’s primary school Nneyi Umueri. The outstation was elevated to the status of a parish on 10th January, 2008 by his Grace; Most Rev. Dr. Valerian Okeke the Archbishop of Onitsha.
Since the inception of the Parish, the population of the faithful amount over six thousand.
Date of First Holy Mass: 13th January, 2008 by Rev. Fr. Cyprian Ubaka the first parish priest.
Outstations: St. Kelvin Ogbu, St. Anthony Mgbede.
