St. Michael the archangel, Ogbunike

The history of St. Michael the Archangel parish, Ogbunike cannot be written without mentioning St. Anthony, Umudioka and Fr. Tansi. In 1943 when Fr. Tansi decided to have a mass center in Ogbunike; elder Okogba of Umukubuagha, Osile Ogbunike donated an expanse of land where the present parish lies.

In September 2016, St Michael the Archangel parish was elevated to the status of a parish by Most Rev. Valerian Okeke and Rev. Fr. Stephen Odinde was appointed as the pioneer parish priest.
