St. Vincent’s Catholic church was created in 1992, after the sojourn of years from old Dunukofia parish as the last parish to be carved out.
Rev. Fr. Pius Nweke the pioneer parish priest celebrated the first holy mass of the newly created parish on 10th Octover, 1992. Since the creation of the parish, the number of faithful amount for over five thousand.
On 27th December, 2000, St. Vincent’s parish was re-dedicated to the lord.
