Born in 1903 in Igboezunu, Aguleri, Tansi rose from humble beginnings to become a beacon of holiness, ordained as a priest in 1937 and later embracing the contemplative life as a Trappist monk. His tireless devotion to reconciling souls with God and nurturing the spiritual life of our community laid a foundation that inspires us to build, brick by brick, a diocese rooted in love and unity. Beatified in 1998 by Pope St. John Paul II, Tansi remains Aguleri’s pride, his life a testament to God’s glory, calling us to grow steadily in faith and compassion.
